Abby Redus is a passionate weaver, painter, teacher, and detail oriented textile designer focused on blending the harsh edges of reality with the feminine mystique. She aims to use textile practices once reserved for only the most elite (typically done by a womens’ hands) and to return its power to everyday people. An overarching theme in Abby’s works focuses on empowering the viewer to be vulnerable and gentle in a hard world - something that shows more strength than most give credit to.
